Kearnaval Bed & BreakfastEddy and Ann Chandler welcome you to Kearnaval, a modern croft house in the village of Tong on the coast of the Isle of Lewis. Although we are in a lovely quiet location, we are only ten minutes drive from the centre of Stornoway.

We have 1 double room, a twin room and a single room, all comfortably furnished with televisions, clock-radios, and tea and coffee making facilities. There is a shared bathroom for the guests’ use which has a bath and shower.

For the guests’ enjoyment, we have mature gardens to the front of the house where you can sit amongst the fountains and lighting and relax. The gardens to the rear of the house have a lawn and panoramic views over Broad Bay and Point.

We have ample parking space on-site for your use, but for those without a car, it’s only a short walk to the main road and bus routes to Stornoway and Tolsta, where there are many magnificent beaches to behold.

After a long day seeing the sights of Lewis and Harris, you can relax in our lounge/dining area and discuss the day’s events, or if you prefer you can listen to music, or watch the television in comfort.

Children are welcome, and we are able to offer a cot and highchair on request.

Full Scottish Breakfast served daily… breakfast is usually served between 7.30 & 8.30am, but you can arrange to have your breakfast earlier or later than this if required.

Directions from Stornoway:

Leaving from Stornoway Town Centre, take the A857, pass the hospital towards Barvas. Take the A895 heading towards Tolsta. Proceed down to Tong round the sharp bend. Take the next right turn (as you enter the 30mph zone) into the village of Tong. Proceed 300 yards down the road and Kearnaval B&B is on the right, with the B&B sign on the front garden wall.
